Nutrition

Fueling Vitality

Few areas of canine care generate as much confusion as nutrition. Owners are bombarded with competing messages, raw diets, grain-free trends, and supplement regimens, many of which are amplified through social media and marketing. At the same time, veterinarians often face time constraints that limit the ability to provide detailed, individualized nutritional counseling.

The result is uncertainty. Estimates suggest that approximately 15 percent of dogs experience nutritional imbalances or deficiencies, often due to inconsistent or poorly informed dietary choices.₁₁ When nutrition is suboptimal, the benefits of exercise and enrichment are diminished, yet the current model rarely connects these pieces during short appointments.
